Why must people always compensates for these errors, and plot holes with made up ‘excuses’
With neither holding back, Ichigo beat Zaraki, or ‘tied’ although Zaraki said himself, he lost.
He didn’t have shikai or hollowfication then.
Then he ‘ties’ against Kuchicki with only Bankai, he wasn’t using his hollow form during that list strike.
What happened to his after image producing bankai speed? He was outpacing Byakuya one of the most powerful captains. Yet Byakuya handles his fight against his Espada opponent with ease.
You think that now he’d have better control of his bankai and hollowfication, yet he still loses.
The question is, where do people come up with these ‘excuses’ that are based off of assumptions anyway? I think that they’re just defending retcon. Just face the facts, and know the truth – Bleach is just simply inconsistent and keeps contradicting itself and Kubo is a troll
if you remember in ep 296, aizen was talking to ichigo about his battles during the soul society: rescue arc (that includes his fights with kenpachi and byakuya). aizen asked him if ichigo thought that his victories resulted from his own efforts. you can see that ichigo was really confused about what aizen was saying – that every single battle ichigo had fought in soul society had played into aizen’s hand. he was kinda implying that everything which had happened involving ichigo was part of his plans but we didn’t get to hear more of it due to isshin’s arrival.

you confuse me a bit. you said “Yet Byakuya handles his fight against his Espada opponent with ease.” but that’s cuz (as you’ve said) “Byakuya one of the most powerful captains.” can you be a little bit clearer on that?
